Happy Post-Halloween!

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

This year’s Halloween party was great.  My sister-in-law, brother-in-law, wife and I threw it jointly, with me as the chief decorator – it all came together beautifully.  Highlights: the wall of eyeballs (styrofoam balls cut in half, and each half painted and backed with double-sided tape) and the horrible spider-skeleton that lived in the center of a glass table.  My costume, the Joker, went over well – at least five people told me to stop “doing that tongue thing” at them, and several guests got a picture with the Joker threatening to cheer them up and make them grin. Zelda went as Strife, complete with a golden apple, and we made a striking couple.

Ricki, ever the star of the show, was very popular in her red lobster costume.

The second Urgoth the Defiler is presently being read by a team of crack proofreaders, and Codex Nekromantia moves forward again now that Urgoth is in the home stretch.  Huzzah.
